Publishing makes your website live and accessible to visitors at your connected domain.
Before publishing for the first time, review what publishing does to understand how it affects your live site.
Publishing Your Site
To publish your website for the first time:
- Open the Website Builder editor
- Click the Publish button in the upper-right corner
- Confirm the action
Your website is now visible to anyone who visits your domain.
Important: Your domain must be correctly configured. Before publishing, ensure you ensure your domain is properly connected.
Republishing After Edits
You can continue to edit your site after it is live at any time.
Changes made inside the editor are not visible until you click Publish again.
Each time you republish:
- The previous live version is replaced
- The newest version becomes public
If updates are not immediately visible, review how updates appear on your live site.
Unpublishing Your Site
If you need to temporarily take your website offline:
- Open the Website Builder editor
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Scroll to the Unpublish option
- Confirm the action
When you unpublish:
- Your website becomes inaccessible to visitors
- Your content remains saved inside the editor
- You can republish at any time
- Unpublishing does not delete your content
Important Considerations
- Publishing does not change your domain settings
- DNS changes may take time to propagate
- Browsers may cache older versions of your site
If your changes do not appear immediately:
- Refresh the page
- Open your website in a private/incognito window
- Clear your browser cache
