How Hosting Transfers Work
Right now, we can only carry out a full hosting transfer for you if your current hosting provider uses cPanel. If your old host does not use cPanel, you will need to move your website files manually.
To qualify for an automatic transfer, your old hosting account must:
- Be powered by cPanel
- Have at least 20% free disk space available
If those conditions are met, you can follow the steps below to begin your transfer:
Step 1: Purchase a New Hosting Plan
Visit the WhoGoHost Web Hosting page and purchase a hosting plan.
Make sure the new hosting package has equal or more disk space than your old hosting account.
Step 2: Submit a Hosting Transfer Request
Once your hosting is active, complete the form on the Hosting Transfer Request page.
A support ticket will be opened automatically for you, and our team will keep you updated on the progress.
Most transfers are completed within 24 hours.
Optional: Transfer Your Domain
If you would also like your domain name moved to WhoGoHost, you can request a domain transfer alongside your hosting migration.
