As we continue to develop new products to better service our customers with a broader range of diverse, innovative and affordable products, we find it necessary to discontinue some of our SSL certificates. Our SSL provider has partnered with Comodo, the #1 SSL Certificate Authority in the world, to offer a wide range of security products at a much lower cost and this will narrow your SSL buying process to just one certificate authority.
We will be discontinuing three (3) groups of SSL certificates, which include Symantec, GeoTrust and Thawte and we will be releasing new and additional Comodo SSL product offerings at a much lower cost as replacements for the discontinued products. Our advance notice is to allow you time to address your SSL certificates needs especially for currently active SSL certificates which needs to be renewed and purchase last time new orders.
You may purchase a Comodo SSL certificate in place of your certificates from other providers when you choose to renew the service.
Important Notes
- November 29, 2016 is the final day for renewals, re-signs, activation & new purchases on all Symantec, GeoTrust & Thawte SSL certificates.
- There will still be support for all active Symantec, GeoTrust & Thawte SSL certificates as at November 30, 2016 for the period of registration.
- If the details of the all active Symantec, GeoTrust & Thawte SSL certificates as at November 30, 2016 changes, re-issue will be allowed for the period of registration.
