Once the domain name is available, the domain registration is instant.

There is a 40-day Grace period for the domain name renewal in which the domain name can be renewed without any additional cost. However, once the Grace period passes, the domain name enters a 30-day redemption period which costs more.

The domain:

• must have minimum of 1 and a maximum of 63 characters;
  
• It must begin with a letter or a number and end with a letter or a number;
  
• It should use the English character set and may contain letters (i.e., a-z, A-Z),numbers (i.e. 0-9) and dashes (-) or a combination of these;
  
• It should neither begin with, nor end with a dash;
  
• It can not contain a dash in the third and fourth positions (e.g. www.ab- -cd.email); and
  
• It must not include a space (e.g. www.ab cd.email).

The maximum period to register the .email domain name extension is 10 years
